We are Sindy and Johan, born and raised in the flatlands of Nederweert, Limburg, where we lived until October 2024. We’re the proud parents of three wonderful daughters: Manon, Vivian, and Daphne. Although we grew up in a flat country, we’ve always had a deep love for the mountains. All of our holidays have revolved around the mountains — whether for hiking or skiing.

In 2006, we spent our first holiday in Schruns, and we instantly fell in love with the stunning mountains and the beautiful surroundings. Since then, we’ve returned to Schruns and other parts of Austria many times, both in summer and winter — but Schruns has always remained our favorite place in Austria. That’s why we dreamed of one day living in this area.

The year 2024, that dream finally came true — we bought a house in the mountains, in the charming village of Tschagguns.

We both love hiking and skiing, so we truly feel at home here. In winter, there are beautiful and challenging slopes, and the lift infrastructure is excellent. The Silvretta Montafon region offers everything you could want in a ski area.

We’ve already explored many hiking trails in the breathtaking Montafon mountains, and now we can enjoy even more of them right from our doorstep.

In Tschagguns, we found a beautiful, traditional Austrian home. We’ll be living here ourselves and renting out three apartments to holiday guests — something we’ve been looking forward to for a long time.

Two of the apartments are ideal for families, each accommodating up to 8 people. The third apartment is perfect for 2 to 5 guests.
